OptiMate Pro 8-S - the unique 8-battery optimiser which can automatically recover deep-discharged batteries. Now with new DUAL PROGRAM to select different charging programs for Engine Start & Deep Cycle batteries.

All batteries connected will be automatically assessed, recovered, charged & tested - within hours. Charges all lead-acid batteries from 3Ah to 55Ah and will maintain batteries from 3Ah to 90Ah. This range covers everything from standby batteries in burglar alarm panels, to motorcycle & powersport batteries through to medium car batteries.

· Automatically assesses, recovers, charges, tests, up to 8 batteries simultaneously.

· For all 12V lead-acid batteries - lead-antimony, lead-calcium, sealed "MF", or "Gel" types.

· Batteries of different types, sizes and condition can be dealt with simultaneously.

· Automatic individual detection and recovery mode for deep-discharged batteries (from as low as 2V).

· Detection of "shorted cell" type defects.

· Each battery individually optimised through electronic current and voltage monitoring.

· Full automatic electronic protection against inverse polarity connection & short-circuit. There are no fuses to replace.

· So safe, it is impossible to generate a spark, even by short-circuiting.

NB OptiMate Pro-8-S can use the standard range of OptiMate & AccuMate accessory leads and connection options BUT because the connectors are inverted on this charger (male - female) a special converter / extension lead is required. These 2.5 m converter leads are part number TM79 and are £3.00+VAT each or £20.00+VAT for a set of 8 and will work with all the AccuMate accessory leads. These are 2.5m long to allow the Pro-8 to be wall mounted and the vehicles / batteries can be several metres away.

An optional wall-mounting bracket (Part No. BM-BRACKET) is available to install the Pro-8 above a workbench. Saves valuable bench space for batteries and keeps the Pro-8 away from acid contamination. Price is £18.00+VAT
